we like to think we have an incredibly special place to host a wedding…
one of our favorite things about the tillerman is all the different little areas there are to explore. meandering the grounds evokes a sense of wonder as you poke around the stone walls, cottage gardens, large boulders, old craggy trees and of course, the path to the babbling creek. it all makes you feel like a kid again, getting lost in your imagination...
each of our wedding packages include inspired, seasonal fare with elements of outdoor cooking, on-site rooms in our artfully restored, late 1700’s farmhouse inn, and countless touches throughout our property that will make your day memorable and unique to you. we have four ceremony locations, and a mosaic landscape that feels expansive while still being cozy and intimate. a true vermont wedding at its finest!
we are located in bristol, vermont- nestled up against the green mountains, in between burlington and middlebury.
the centerpiece of our venue is a 125-year-old barn surrounded by trees, flowers, and out-buildings, evoking a quintessential rustic vermont feel. if you love to live off the beaten path, be transported to a simpler time, or are inspired by texture and the elements, you might never want to leave!
our inn features 7 comfortable bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, accommodating up to 19 guests. think wood floors, wool rugs, colorful artwork, and heavenly beds in every room. our amenities focus on natural materials and comfort.
our food is impeccably sourced from local farms, producers, vendors, makers, and ranchers. we are entirely committed to quality and we keep our food simple and rustic. dining with us feels like attending a dinner party at a friend’s house who also happens to be the best cook and host you know.

for big & small weddings, the restaurant is closed to the public on wedding day. it remains open for microweddings.

big & small wedding contracts go until midnight with the option to extend alcohol service until midnight as well (typically stops at 10pm). microweddings contract & alcohol service go until 10pm with no option to extend.

for larger weddings, most couples reserve hotel blocks in either burlington or middlebury (both about 30 min away from the tillerman) and hire shuttles to bring guests to and fro. we also have recommendations for local airbnb style lodging in the bristol area.

big wedding range: $45,000 - $52,000
small wedding range: $26,000 - $35,000
microwedding range: $9,500 - $15,000
*this range encompasses the tillerman’s portion of the invoice (excluding on-site lodging) - it does not include other vendors, decor, planners or coordinators, rentals required for our big wedding, or any other elements you may want to involve in your wedding day. please reach out to your other vendors directly for accurate pricing and quotes.
