no matter the season, we will always have a fruitful roster of all kinds of happenings here on the property. join us for wine tastings, flower arranging workshops, prix-fixe feasts, holiday cookie decorating, and of course always lots of good music (from family music nights in summer, to lively barn dance parties, and music in the parlor beside a crackling fire come winter).

women of the earth film screening and q&a
join us for a free film screening in the barn! women of the earth is a pbs documentary series, created by vermont filmmaker chiara hollender, that celebrates the women who steward our land and cultivate climate solutions across the nation.
kids music & pizza in the barn!
happy spring! come on by sunday may 17th for kids music and pizza in the barn! linda bassick will be playing music. we will have roman pizza & festive drinks from us, miss weinerz donuts, and little seed will be there with their new coffee cart!
wine tasting with will: exploring pink wines
will’s exceptional story telling and knowledge of wine will help explore the places and flavors of six unique grapes. we will gather around the long farm table in the parlor to taste all sparkling french wine accompanied by olives, cheeses and charcuterie.
summer live music series - every wednesday through october 7th
our summer live music series returns, starting june 3rd! las hermosas will be back with tacos, we will be serving up creative cocktails/snacks/paletas, and we have a great lineup of musicians through the summer. head over to our summer live music page to see the full lineup and frequently asked questions.
local food in practice: exploring real world connections between vermont farms and restaurants
vermont farmers and food professionals are invited to the tillerman for a late afternoon of connection, conversation, and culinary insight. enjoy snacks and refreshments while exchanging ideas with fellow farmers and food industry peers.
tarot readings in the parlor
greyson from divided sky astrology/ hermit thrush fiber co. in bristol will be set up in the parlor giving tarot readings. come grab a drink and some snacks at the bar, or join us for dinner after your readings to compare notes!
flower arranging workshop with understory farm: arranging and persuading spring into flower
spend a couple hours exploring the art of arranging forced tulips, foliage and branches into a centerpiece to take home. this intimate workshop is for all skill levels and meant to build on the age-old tradition of persuading plants into bloom with the manipulation of warmth and time, with the focus on local flowers and foliage from our vermont landscape.

jeff spins tales of americana characters, new england wildlife, and human connection. whether silly or sincere, soft or thunderous, his songs will keep your toes tapping and eyes bright.

bio: local string band remember baker’s live repertoire ordinarily includes uptempo bluegrass, old-time, and new orleans jazz numbers, but for the tillerman winter parlor series a slimmed-down iteration of the band (“remember baker lite”) will be dipping into some of the band’s more earnest, grounding, and personal tunes – somewhere between singer-songwriter showcase and after-hours living room jam, with a healthy dose of fiddle tunes thrown in for good measure.

master digital storytelling and building your vermont brand. join senator rocket for an intimate workshop at the tillerman in bristol.
welcome to the digital storytelling workshop with senator rocket at the tillerman restaurant! join us on february 8, 2026 at 3:30 pm for a small group session on crafting your brand on social media.
rocket will share skills that are easy to implement, based off his real-world experience building his audience of nearly 100,000 across eat vermont his own personal account @senator rocket.
the tillerman will provide small bites and a beverage.
